Make a Data Request
To submit a data access, correction, deletion or portability request, you may also use the contact form at /contact/ — mark your subject: GDPR Data Request. We will respond within 30 days.
We respect your privacy and your rights under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR). This page explains how you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of personal data we hold.
What We Can Help With
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we have about you.
- Correction: request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: request deletion of your personal data where applicable.
- Restriction / Objection: request restriction of processing or object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Portability: request your data in a commonly used electronic format where applicable.
- Withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent (e.g., optional cookies), you can withdraw it anytime.
How to Submit a Request
Email us at info@cavtatguide.com with the subject line:
“Data Request – Cavtat Guide”
Please include
- Your full name
- The email address you used to contact us (or submit an inquiry)
- Your request type (access / delete / correct / restrict / portability / objection)
- Any relevant URLs or context (e.g., “I submitted a booking inquiry on [date]”)
Identity Verification
To protect your information, we may request reasonable verification before processing a request (for example, confirming you control the email address used in the inquiry). We do this to prevent unauthorized access or deletion.
Third-Party Providers
If your request concerns data held by a third-party provider (for example, a booking platform, tour operator, charter company, or embedded service), you may need to contact that provider directly. We can guide you to the right contact where possible, but we cannot control third-party systems.
Response Timing
We aim to respond within a reasonable period and within legal time limits where applicable. Complex requests may require additional time; if so, we will inform you.
Complaints
If you believe your data has been handled improperly, you may contact us first at info@cavtatguide.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
